Seven sins of player

Players have seven bad habits, each of which is - separately and furthermore a little together - practically a guarantee to the player’s loss even before he has sat down for the computer (or has gone to a casino). These are seven game sins, each of which is a guaranteed way to give money to a casino.

1. Binge: It is not the secret, that alcohol affects the ability to think properly, but players anyway wish to receive one more cocktail. You are definitely going to fail if you wish to play blackjack after the heavy working day with a glass of beer. However the excessive hobby for alcohol conducts to loss of attention, judiciousness, patience and, at last, money.

2. Attempt to recoup: As they say, «father beat his son not because that one played, but because he recouped». The players, dreaming to return the money at the big loss are the best friends to a casino. Remember that you play not only just for pleasure but also to win. Before beginning of game establish a limit of loss which you presume, and also the prospective size of a prize, and adhere to these limits. If to you are not lucky, switch off the computer and try next day.

3. “Intuitive” rates: The second name of the “intuitive” player is the bankrupt. “Intuitive” players ignore the theory of probability and do rates instinctively. In type of games blackjack or video-poker where there is an optimum strategy, it is necessary to follow this strategy. Each time when you ignore this strategy because you “feel”, what card will come, you increase a casino prize.

4. “Vengeful” rates: If you start to put recklessly and above your limit after a train of losses (that is if you try to use martingale) in order «to teach a lesson to a casino », your vengefulness will only worsen a situation. Remember, the unique lesson, which casino perfectly knows, it that it anyway remains in a prize. So be reasonable.

5. Acquaintance with new games: Certainly, Sic Bo looks funny and exotically. However, if you are the beginner in game, play at first in a mode of practice (and, of course, study the chances and base strategy for game). Until that moment, when you study game, you will make mistakes, so it is better to play «on funny money» rather than lose money.

6. Too big rates (it is very similar to points 2 and 4, but the author has made separate themes)
Believe to me, it is very easy, to make big rates at once in attempt to recoup having lost some rates. However the best way to lose more than presume is to put more, than presume. Do the rates, win and lose within the frames of your limits. Even if you are in a prize, you put YOUR money, not the money of casino!

7. Concentration loss: Often it’s necessary to hear, that the player simply does not remember, how he has turned out to lose all money during one evening. Game bewitches, sometimes so much that it’s possible to lose concentration and to start making wrong decisions. Concentration loss is probably the main threat for the player. Be attentive, have a good time, but if you feel, that you lose concentration - stop the game.
